The room itself was satisfactory, kept clean and tidy throughout my stay. The amenities provided were also adequate, though nothing particularly noteworthy. The location is convenient within ChinaTown with train and tram stations nearby making it easy to get around. Where the hotel fell short, however, was in the soft service skills of the staff, particularly at the reception and the amount of time it took for their systems to check me in. The check in system seems to be insanely slow for a hotel in 2024. I found the reception staff to be polite but they seemed to lack sufficient knowledge and training in how to deal with customers and the software suite used within the hotel. This was in stark contrast to my experience in May 2023 where staff were more efficient and attentive. My overall stay was just okay, I believe that improvements in the soft service skills of the staff, at reception, and an update of the hotel management software could greatly enhance the guest experience.

My sisters and I stayed here for a staycation in the city and wanted the family room - very clean rooms with very comfy beds. The staff were very attentive and lovely as we walked around. So many great shops and restaurants for Families to enjoy. Great place to stay!

I have stayed at Rydges World square on many occasions and love the location and the staff but today I decided to order Continental Breakfast Room Service. Very disappointed ! Toast served Cold in an open Bowl, No Plate, Coffee in a takeaway cup & juice in a bottle no glass..... $ 25 later, I feel I clould have had better at McDonalds. I did expect better

What a lovely hotel! With spacious rooms and a centeral location, I would highly recommend the Rydges World Square Sydney Hotel. Service was flawless and the staff helpful and friendly. We walked to the reknowned symphony hall and so many other places from there. They also serve an extensive and beautiful breakfast - a great way to start your day.

This was a break away for us to see the Ramses exhibition & The Man from Snowy River, so disappointed with the ridiculous increase in pricing! We understand that there is going to be an “ event” ( deliberate non naming as no interest) in a weeks time, why were we collateral damage??? Anyway enough of my rant, the check in was smooth & room ready, nice room. Can’t believe how noisy some people are late at night! Absolutely no respect for other hotel guests! So not much sleep!
